We agree, its been too long since we've seen each other. So, some good news, we're getting the band back together. For the first time in a long time, we are hosting a chapter meeting at our old stomping grounds.
We'll be holding our general membership meeting alongside two talks that are well worth showing up for, along with beer and pizza:
Russian River Salmon Study: Dr. Phil Georgakakos from UC Berkeley will share results from a recent coho salmon radio telemetry study on the Russian River, plus an update on pikeminnow suppression efforts in the Eel River Watershed.
Eel River Dam Removal: Charlie Schneider from California Trout will be joining us to talk Eel River dam removal and restoration. Big things are happening on the Eel and Charlie's right in the thick of it.
Members and non-members alike are welcome, the more the merrier. Grab a beer, catch up with fellow fish nerds, and hear from some of the people doing incredible work for our Redwood Empire fisheries.
